Jesse hasn’t been out at an official public appearance since October 2008 – boo! However, I have managed to find a couple of event pictures I’d not yet added to the gallery, with some from ‘07 and two from ‘08…hopefully some more soon!

Yam Laranas’ The Echo Remake Gets a Korean Trailer

Yam Laranas shot his original horror movie “The Echo” in 2004 and finished up an American remake of the same movie in 2008. The film stars Jesse Bradford as an ex-con who moves into a haunted apartment building and begins to hear sounds. A longer, more plot-heavy (i.e. voiceover narration) version of the trailer was posted last year (see that here). This one is a Korean version of the trailer, and is a slicker, less obvious but definitely more atmospheric cut. The bathroom stall scene creeps me the hell out, man.

An ex-con moves into an old apartment building, where he encounters a domestic problem involving a police officer, his wife, and their daughter. When he tries to intervene, however, a mysterious curse entraps him.

Starring Jamie Bloch, Jesse Bradford, Iza Calzado, Kevin Durand, Jayne Eastwood, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Carlos Leon, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Amelia Warner, and Louise Linton. Yam Laranas directs.

The film opens May 28 in South Korea, thus the trailer. It currently doesn’t have a U.S. release date, and considering how badly Asian horror remakes have done in the States, it could very well go directly to DVD.

Jeremy Northam, Saffron Burrows land CBS pilot leads

Also booking pilot roles are Missy Pyle, Chris Parnell, Jesse Bradford and Matt Czuchry

A total of eight actors have landed roles across a quartet of CBS pilots.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Deanna Dunagan, Missy Pyle and Chris Parnell have been cast in comedy “Big D,” Jeremy Northam has secured a lead in “Miami Trauma,” Saffron Burrows, Jesse Bradford and Gaby Hoffmann will appear in “The Eastmans,” while Matt Czuchry will co-star in “The Good Wife.”

“Miami Trauma” comes from Jerry Bruckheimer productions and centers around, predictably, a trauma center in Miami. Northam (“The Tudors,” “Gosford Park”) will play an enigmatic new doctor in the ward.

“The Eastmans” focuses on a complicated family of doctors. Burrows (“My Own Worst Enemy”) will play Anna Eastman, researching autism and wondering if her child is autistic. Hoffmann (“Field of Dreams”) and Bradford (“Bring It On”) will play Sally and Seth, the Easthman twins. She’s a pathologist and he’s got a Vicodin addiction. It’s “Out of Practice” meets “Dirty Sexy Money”!

“The Good Wife” stars Julianna Margulies as a politician’s wife who takes a job as a junior associate at a big law firm. Czuchry (“Gilmore Girls”) will play another first-year associate at the film.

Finally, on the comedy front, “Big D” focuses on a New York couple who move back to the husband’s hometown of Dallas. Dunagan, a Tony winner for “August: Osage County,” will play the husband’s Southern belle mother. Pyle (“Spring Breakdown”) and Parnell (“30 Rock”) would play his sister and brother-in-law.

New Layout!

After far, far, FAR too long with that WordPress template, I have finally managed to pull together a semi-decent layout for this site. As you’ll notice, there isn’t any content up yet, as I’m going to have to basically re-write every page, as well as convert it all to WordPress. However, the gallery is still up and availible for viewing, so help yourself whilst I get things sorted. I’d love to know what you think of the new look!
